Warm wrists, Cold wrists

This is a cousin post of White Bottoms. Only because I'm wearing a white dress, it really has nothing to do with the sad little rotten peach. Got this number for $30 down from $70, I think. I saw it. I loved it. Probably never going to wear it. But, I bought it and I have signed an agreement with myself stating that I will most definitely wear this dress before I die. OR ELSE...

I just loved the contrast of the blinding white with the transparent sleeves. Pair it with flats, running shoes, booties, heels. ANYTHING PEOPLE, anything, the dress is your oyster (ha ha...ha...). It is just great and not too short cause it's never good when my bootay is hanging out of clothing. Not a good look. Ok, let me show you what it looks like.

Looking pregnant, while running. Can I even categorize that as running?

Warm wrists with reds and the golds.

Cold Wrists with the silvers and the blues.

Let's be honest, it is not the most flattering of dresses, but it still has a lovely feel about it. The unfortunate part of the outfit is located on the wrists. I'm pretty sure when I was decked out in my jewels I was performing unintentional arm exercises every 5 seconds. Each arm weighed an extra 5 pounds. 5 POUNDS. I guess that could be seen as an Unfortunate Obsession or if you're wanting a more positive twist, a 2-in-1 Obsession. You're not only looking wicked kewl with all your wrist crap, you're also defining those triceps, biceps and you can't forget those good ol' deltoids. 2-in-1. Still with me? It's ok if you're not cause I gotta go!

Walk for the dress

"Nice dress, you look like a hippie" was the first thing my mother said to me when spotting me in this navy number. I honestly don't think I look anything like a god damn hippie. Nothing wrong with looking like a hippie! But I took the opportunity to take photos and share my hippiness with you. Let's get some opinions flying around here, hippie? homeless chic? You choose.

There is a tortuous story behind this dress. First off, I proudly bought it from Value Village or a more blogger friendly way of saying it: a cute little vintage shop and I decided to bring my little pooch alone for the adventure. I would be lying if I said it was a beautiful, sunny day to take your furry friend for a walk. The temperature outside was 35 Celsius plus humidity and my dog hasn't been groomed for 6 months. You put two and two together. Just do it. The walk to the 'cute little vintage shop' is a short 15-30 minutes depending if you're crawling, walking, running, skipping. P.S. We walked. Point is, we got there. But we were not enjoying life. I was panting, she was panting. I was sweating, she was panting (all she does is pant, eat, bark, and cuddle). So, I thought a way to apologize to her for the severity of the walk was to feature her in this post.

My Unfortunate Obsession with 'vintage' clothing prompted me to include the pooch on this HOT adventure that I like to call: The Afternoon Walk. Poor me. Poor victim me. People, it's not about getting heat stroke or causing doggy dehydration, it's about getting that dress. JKZ. Okay, this is turning into a preachy post and that is the LAST thing that paigey wants. The point is, there is no point. Don't take your dog on a walk when it is 35 Celsius outside, even it is for a dress that makes you look like a hippie.

My neck and wrists, of course.

Do you wear creases with pride? Do you take your dog for walks? Do you shop a Value Village?
(So many questions, so little time)
