Awkward and Lame

You know that awkward, unfortunate moment when you're writing an essay on teaching kids geometry kids while simultaneously listening to lil' wayne and his vile lyrics. Not the best combo, people.

You know that lame, unfortunate moment when you're all like "hey mum, come take pictures of me for my blog" and she's all like, "I'm busy, I'm on the phone" and then you have to kinda beg her. Kinda. Just kinda have to beg. More like bribe. JKZ, she luvz meh.

You know that awkward, unfortunate moment when you're all like "yayzzzzz I'm taking pictures for my blog" and then they all turn out like this:

lookin' mad bald.

Feeling like you wanna dress it up a bit? Take the white heels out for a spin, and use your puppy as an accessory.

Look at that, My feet even have a spotlight on 'em.

Do a little dance, make a little love, look evil tonight.

My neck, birdie and all.

A couple normal ones. Do you like my prehistoric television? Still works so there is no upgradin' going on around here.

You see, people, being awkward and lame is not necessarily considered an Unfortunate Obsession because well, let's be honest, I'm not ACTUALLY Obsessed with being awkward and lame. It just happens. Did that make any sense? Wearing ankle socks with sneakers is definitely considered an Obsession but please, be the judge of whether or not it is Unfortunate....

Dun...

Dun...

Dun...

Also, who said there was a limit to how many pictures you can put into one post? I didn't! The more, the goddamn merrier.

Are you awkward and lame? Do you have any stories to PROVE IT? PROVE IT!

Walk for the dress

"Nice dress, you look like a hippie" was the first thing my mother said to me when spotting me in this navy number. I honestly don't think I look anything like a god damn hippie. Nothing wrong with looking like a hippie! But I took the opportunity to take photos and share my hippiness with you. Let's get some opinions flying around here, hippie? homeless chic? You choose.

There is a tortuous story behind this dress. First off, I proudly bought it from Value Village or a more blogger friendly way of saying it: a cute little vintage shop and I decided to bring my little pooch alone for the adventure. I would be lying if I said it was a beautiful, sunny day to take your furry friend for a walk. The temperature outside was 35 Celsius plus humidity and my dog hasn't been groomed for 6 months. You put two and two together. Just do it. The walk to the 'cute little vintage shop' is a short 15-30 minutes depending if you're crawling, walking, running, skipping. P.S. We walked. Point is, we got there. But we were not enjoying life. I was panting, she was panting. I was sweating, she was panting (all she does is pant, eat, bark, and cuddle). So, I thought a way to apologize to her for the severity of the walk was to feature her in this post.

My Unfortunate Obsession with 'vintage' clothing prompted me to include the pooch on this HOT adventure that I like to call: The Afternoon Walk. Poor me. Poor victim me. People, it's not about getting heat stroke or causing doggy dehydration, it's about getting that dress. JKZ. Okay, this is turning into a preachy post and that is the LAST thing that paigey wants. The point is, there is no point. Don't take your dog on a walk when it is 35 Celsius outside, even it is for a dress that makes you look like a hippie.

My neck and wrists, of course.

Do you wear creases with pride? Do you take your dog for walks? Do you shop a Value Village?
